About Me
I hold a Masters in Clinical Psychology with specializations in Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, Professional Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Food Science and Nutrition.
​
I have a compassionate, gentle, strength-based, easy to follow approach that supports you to change and grow and fulfill the goals you're reaching for. I focus on helping you develop constructive communication in all manner and types of relationships.
To do this I use a variety of disciplines including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Transactional Analysis, and Adlerian Therapy.
I have experience working in a variety of settings including private practice, The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, Veterans Village of San Diego, Vista Balboa Crisis Center, and San Diego Center for Neurofeedback.

I also have experience as a teacher, regular and special education, at San Diego Unified
School District, and, as a tennis coach with players of all ages and abilities in a variety of settings including the City of Irvine, La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, Mission Valley YMCA, San Diego City College, and San Diego Unified School District.
